Welcome to the website of the Society for Oncology Massage, Inc.  The Society was conceived in May, 2007 at the first national meeting of oncology massage therapists, almost 180 strong.  We are now planning the second national meeting to be held April 30 to May 2, 2010 in Minneapolis.

These pages explain the steadily advancing body of knowledge that underlies oncology massage, the remarkable benefits of massage for cancer patients and its rapid acceptance by patients, caregivers and physicians.
