Develop and implement ways to effectively get the oncology massage message to cancer patients at the beginning of their journeys.

Plan and organize the oncology massage Healing Summit to be held in 2013.

Plan, recruit and administer a Medical/Professional Advisory Board to provide advice and counsel to the S4OM board.

Write and post a Wikipedia article on Oncology Massage.

Survey, catalog and assign ratings to the best of the 500+ web videos on massage and cancer.  The result will be a very useful guide for our community.

Design and market oncology massage oriented T-shirts, hats, pins bags jackets and other clothing.  We have made a start at: http://www.s4om.org/div1/shirt_shop.htm.  Pick up the project and run with it. 

Develop and maintain an integrated database of all S4OM  membership information and
financial data.

Develop and implement a program to reach out to oncology massage therapists in other English speaking countries, especially Canada.

Develop and implement ways to increase awareness of oncology massage among oncology physicians and nurses.

Create oncology massage practice-building tools (business card templates, brochures, flyers, etc) that will be available online for use by our members.

Set up an "Ask the Expert"  system for members (and non-members) to get fast, informed answers to oncology massage questions.

Create and administer online discussion forums.

Develop fund raising mechanisms and/or grant writing to support oncology massage education and/or research.

Bring S4OM into the world of social networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to facilitate public education, professional outreach, education, and membership.  

Create and administer a volunteer mentorship program within S4OM.

Investigate mechanisms for developing a working relationship between S4OM and massage schools.

Manage the collection and presentation of research information on the S4OM website.

Maintain an ongoing chronological listing of all oncology massage CEU offerings across the country.

Plan for the future direct election of board members by the membership -  Develop additions to the by-laws providing for the nomination and election of board members. Specify the organizational development milestones necessary to insure a good chance of ongoing success.
