Megan’s fascination of and appreciation for the physiology of the human body propelled her into the massage field, and she has never looked back. She is passionate about educating people about how massage can facilitate positive change in the body and about society’s innate need for therapeutic touch. She views massage as an integration of science, art, communication, and heart, and she is proud to provide her specialized services to those seeking relief from stress, illness, and pain.
Megan’s touch is gentle yet highly effective. She works to interrupt the stress cycle, to facilitate increased body awareness, and to offer safe, relaxing, comfort-oriented care for her clients. She fosters a partnership with every client, and works to integrate their unique needs into each individualized session to promote feelings of overall relaxation, restoration, and well-being.
She is also an avid supporter of and a participant in The Abbott Road Project in Westborough, Massachusetts -- an organization that provides no-cost oncology massage to people undergoing treatment for cancer.
Megan is a member of the Society for Oncology Massage and is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, providing Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and compression bandaging. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University and has taken coursework in oncology massage, lymphedema therapy, and post-mastectomy tissue mobilization.
