I have been an RN for 30 years and became a Massage Therapist in 2003 I have worked with Cancer Patients since the start of my practice. I currently work for a local hospice part time doing massage theray,along with work in a prvate office.To keep currrent with medications and treatmeats I do still work part time as an RN

As an RN and LMT working for hospice i learn something every day.In 2001 I spent an extensive amout of time in a bone marrow transplant unit in Indianapolis. I learned the value of massage for the cancer patient.
I was an RN so working around catheters ports, colostomys and IV lines was with in my scope of practice.
Also being familiar with isolation practices was a plus
