I am an oncology massage therapist whose passion is helping people with cancer find a way to reconnect with their bodies, during cancer treatment and after.
I have been working with oncology patients since 2008. The gentle nature of oncology massage and the nurturing process is what draws me to this field. In addition to oncology massage I also offer Scar Tissue Mobilization and Manual Lymph Drainage.
While many of my clients are oncology patients, I also have clients who come to me specifically for the moderate pressure massage that is so soothing. The essence of my practice: gentle, nurturing, safe. ... show less.
Jacki Sellers has been an educator for over 30 years, first in the field of music education and performance - including 13 years at the college level - and now in the specialized discipline of oncology massage. Jacki has been with Greet The Day (www.greettheday.org) since 2009. She is a preferred provider for the Society for Oncology Massage, and nationally certified in massage, bodywork and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
As Lead Therapist for Chemo Comfort Touch, Jacki teaches Infusion Center Massage, and mentors volunteers, new and seasoned, as they provide foot and hand massage for people receiving chemotherapy. Her dream is to see oncology massage in the Infusion Center become a regular component to cancer care everywhere.
Teaching the Oncology Massage Foundation Program for Greet The Day is another passion; especially traveling outside of Orange County California to spread the word about oncology massage.
