The Advanced Training in Hospital-based Massage Therapy program at UCSF | Osher Center for Integrative Medicine offers Massage Therapy Fellows a year long program of study, leadership development and direct patient care in a variety of inpatient departments including Advanced Lung Disease, Bone Marrow Transplant, Palliative Care Service, Hospice, and Dept. of Medicine and Pediatrics. The Fellows also have rotations in ambulatory care settings such as Infusion Centers. Research, teaching and management skill and experiences are integrated into each program. Courses such as Oncology massage, Therapeutic Relationships and MT for Neurological Challenges are offered to the community of massage therapists with CA or National certifications.
