My name is Kathleen Porter and I have always pursued career paths which make a difference to clients which enhance their quality of life. I am a licensed massage therapist and certified medical massage practitioner with a preference to Oncology Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Post-Op Lymphatic, Medical Therapeutic Massage Therapy and Reiki. Before I became a massage therapist, I was a certified wedding and event planner for over 15 years on the island of Oahu, Honolulu, HI. 2015 my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's Diseases after doing a lot of research on the disease I knew I needed to find a way to help him have a better quality of life, that's when I decided to become a licensed massage therapist. As a result, I continued to expand my knowledge of massage therapy to include Oncology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Post-Op Lymphatic. Currently, my practice focuses on those clients either Post-Op or experiencing health challenges such as Cancer, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and any other types of medical conditions. In order to ensure I am employing the latest massage techniques and continue to earn the trust and confidence of my clients; I continually research the latest periodicals as well as enrolled in continuing education courses that focus on the latest treatments. I love being able to help others change and improve their lives by helping them to relax from the day-to-day stressors they experience by reducing their pain levels and helping them to feel empowered. Through my healing touch I will bring your body back into balance so you can leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, renewed and revitalized.
