SOPHIA STURM, LMT, is a licensed massage therapist. While working with cancer patients, Sophia takes special care to focus on helping to relieve side effects related to active cancer treatment, including: Neuropathy, Fatigue, and Nausea.

Her experience with our Wellness & Support Center inspired Sophia to pursue another passion that provides strength and balance to patients: She is now a certified yoga instructor. My passion for yoga started with Bikram yoga in the early 2000s. It was very explorative at the time.

In 2011, I enrolled in a teaching training, not planning to actually teach. I am not a public speaker, but after meeting many oncology patients in the Wellness & Support Center, I found my voice and decided to become an instructor.”

When she’s not working, Sophia is a happily busy mom to three kids.
