This conference is intended for massage therapists and esthetics professionals for educational purposes only. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to understand and comply with the scope of practice defined by their local licensing board or regulatory authority. Attendance in a class does not grant legal permission to perform the techniques taught. By registering for and attending this conference, participants acknowledge and agree that the event organizers, instructors, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injuries, legal actions, claims, damages, or losses resulting from the misuse or unauthorized application of techniques or information provided during the conference. The 2025 Oncology Massage and Esthetics Virtual Summit, where professionals from around the world gathered to explore the latest in oncology care. The event was hosted by the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM) and the Society for Oncology Esthetics (S4OE). The event kicked off with an introduction by Ericka Clinton, President of the Board of Directors, highlighting the significant impact of massage and aesthetic care on patients during cancer treatment and survivorship.
Throughout the day, renowned experts like Rhiannon Lewis, Fiona Murphy, Carolyn Tague, Elizabeth Soto, and Shannon McKnight delved into topics on integrative oncology skin health, hospital-based massage therapy, lymphatic system understanding, bone marrow transplant patient care, and more. We had the opportunity to learn about the vital roles and best practices in supporting those undergoing cancer treatment, including the nuances in lymphatic care, the implications of bone marrow transplants, and practical adaptations in clinical settings.
This comprehensive day of learning is supported by sponsors Pranarom/Veriditas Botanicals and Healwell. It’s was applauded and appreciated as a must-watch for practitioners committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in oncology massage and aesthetics.
