DESCRIPTION:  \nQualifications: \n\n\n\nThis course is open to licensed massage therapists\, estheticians\, RN’s\, and Nurse Aides\nPrerequisite (see below) must be complete prior to start of Live; Virtual Course.\n\n\n\n  \nFormat: \n\nPlease note\, this foundational training is made up of two components. It has a prerequisite online Home Study component followed by an In-Person component\n\n  \n  \nOncology Massage and Skin Care – 32 CE hrs. \na. Home Study (Online): 8 CE hrs – Course materials are available upon enrollment. The home study coursework is self-paced and must be completed prior to the program start date. \nb. In-Person: 24 CE hrs. –  Friday\, February 20 – Sunday\, February 22\, 2026 9am to 6pm PST all three days \nInstructor: \nMiechelle Juul Hwang \n  \nFor questions about the course\, please contact the Organizer.  S4OM is unable to provide further details regarding course information.  \nThe intention of the Education Standards for S4OM/S4OE Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM/S4OE recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists and estheticians the basics of providing oncology massage and skin care in a safe\, ethical\, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer. \n
