About

Creating healing partnerships since 1985. My initial training was in Medical Massage at The Swedish Institute in Manhattan. I taught Medical Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Massage and various other classes there and in Philadelphia, Tucson and Los Angeles. From 1995 through 2008 I maintained a thriving private practice in Berkeley California. In 2012 I returned to the Bay Area after 4 years of living in Vermont. During my stay in New England I was employed by Dartmouth-Hithcock Medical Center in several capacities. My primary position was Support Group Coordinator and Program Development Assistant for Patient and Family Support Services at Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Additionally, I provided Massage Therapy in both the inpatient and outpatient hospital settings for the Cancer Center and the Palliative Care department. My current practice is based in downtown Berkeley, where I offer Therapeutic Bodywork for people living with cancer and other life limiting illnesses and their care partners. In addition to providing Oncology Massage, referral networks include Orthopedists, Neurologists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Psychotherapists and Physical Therapists in my community. My focus is on prevention, rehabilitation and stress reduction. Bodywork sessions are generally 1 or 1.5 hours and gift certificates are always available. I look forward to working together to optimize your wellness, vitality and body awareness.
