I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007. I also volunteered with the Cancer Wellness Center in Northbrook, IL. from 2015-2018. I offered 30 minute complimentary sessions with clients or family members of the clients. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I am excelling my work to higher standards. In 2014, I was certified in Palliative Massage and certified in Pediatric Massage in 2015. I have specialized training in Oncology Massage for Adults as well as Pediatric Oncology Massage / Massage for Autism from LIddle KIdz Foundation(TM). Massage for individuals who are going through Cancer can experience several benefits with massage, such as: decreasing stress, increasing relaxation, possibly decreasing sleep issues and nausea, increasing circulation, decreasing pain and increasing Serotonin levels. In May, I completed a specialized 50 hour extensive training in Trauma Touch Therapy. I hope to pair my massage work with other health care practitioners in order to give people a more integrative approach to their health.
