I have been working with people who have been diagnosed with cancer since 2000. My process began as a personal desire to find a better way to serve during this complex journey, as I felt challenged to assist those that I loved who were battling this complicated disease. I believe that cancer is indiscriminate in nature and as such, I open myself to the question, “How can I ease this path?”. I try to answer this question by blending my traditional education in Kinesiology with my healing arts training to offer a continuum of care. I believe in the use of acupressure, massage therapy and exercise programming to bridge the multifaceted needs of the cancer patient. My intent is to meet each individual in the moment, care for their needs and hope to provide more peace, relief from treatment side effects, strategies for gaining strength and endurance, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Kim currently enjoys sharing her time teaching about working with cancer and chronic conditions and being a part of a rehabilitative team providing cancer exercise training and massage.
