Authentic Roots: Oncology Massage Training | Foundations & Integration (32 hrs) – In-Person Training with Online Pre-Class Coursework (St. Paul, Alberta Canada)

 

Qualifications: 

1. 1. RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) or currently in 2nd yr of Massage School
   2. Prerequisite (see below) must be complete prior to start of Live; Virtual Course.

 

Format:

* Please note, this foundational training is made up of two components. It has a prerequisite online Home Study component followed by an In-Person component

 

Foundations & Integration – 32 CE hrs.

1. 1. 1. Home Study (Online): 8 CE hrs. – Online Home Study to be completed prior to 3-day in-person training

      2. In-Person Component: 24 CE hrs. – Thursday, April 16 – Saturday, April 18, 2026, 9am to 6pm all three days

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM/S4OE Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM/S4OE recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists and estheticians the basics of providing oncology massage and skin care in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
