Oncology Massage Global: Oncology Massage Module 1 (of 2); (24 hrs) – Virtual

Qualifications: 

1. 1. Module 1 is open to therapists at Certificate level and above
   2. This foundational training is made up of Modules 1 only
   3. Module 1 is a prerequisite to Module 2 (which is not included in this class)

Format:

* Please note Module 1 is a virtual course. You will need access to the internet, plus an iPhone or similar smartphone for filming and sending your practical sessions. If you are in a different time zone to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) please mention this when you make contact with our administrator; we are often able to offer a choice of meeting times.

1. 1. 1.   Oncology Massage Module 1 (Virtual): 24-CE hrs. – Monday, April 13, 2026 – Monday, June 1, 2026; Module 1
      2. Module 1 is completed within 8 weeks at a pace that is comfortable for you. It is comprised of four (4) units. Each unit includes a theoretical and a practical element that will be completed in a 2-week period.  This virtual class will meet weekly to review the content before proceeding to the next section of the unit.

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
