Our Massage CE Advantage, LLC partnership was formed in 2016 when Lin Roussel and Melissa Faith-Baun met and realized they shared a love and passion for practicing and teaching oncology massage. At that time, they both were offering safe, skilled touch for individuals going through cancer and beyond, and realized that many LMTs lacked essential oncology massage training. They collaborated and created Essentials of Oncology Massage: A 3 Day Foundational Course. Together they have 42 years of education and experience. Melissa is a licensed and Board-Certified massage therapist and holds certifications in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Her specialty is working with cancer-related lymphedema and radiation fibrosis. Lin’s focus is the emotional side of dealing with cancer, as well as trauma and end of life care. Both Melissa and Lin are Preferred Practitioners and Recognized Education Providers for S4OM, as well as Unite for Her. Lin is a retired nurse and social worker, a licensed esthetician, and currently works with UFH serving individuals with a cancer diagnosis in her clinic in Lancaster County, Pa. She also enjoys her job as a hospice massage therapist. Melissa founded Lymphedema and Integrative Oncology Services, LLC, located in Doylestown, Pa, which is a Phase 2 lymphedema treatment center. She works closely with local hospitals and their lymphedema departments, and UFH. Both Lin and Melissa look forward to meeting and training LMTs interested in oncology massage!
