About
I have a clinical background in Physical Rehabilitation through the lens of a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist; specializing in Spinal Cord Injuries for 7 years, in collaboration with an Interdisciplinary team. It was through this foundation that led me to study Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork at The Center for Massage and Natural Health. \
Since then, I’ve attended trainings with Tom Myers-Anatomy Trains: Myofascial Release/Fascial Meridians, Aaron Mattes-Active Isolated Assisted Therapy, Upledger Institute-Craniosacral Therapy, Esalen® Institute-Massage Approach to Trauma, and Oncology Massage. In addition, I’ve studied practical applications in other areas such as Reflexology, Cupping, Gua Sha, Acupressure, and Yoga Teacher Training 200-Hour.
Combining 16 years of Interdisciplinary studies, application, and self-study has guided me in such a way that I strive to curate a safe, informed, and mindful practice that respectively addresses each client’s unique needs. I mostly treat individuals who are suffering from chronic pain and stress.
Additionally, elder care and those who are experiencing grief have been a primary focus in my practice. I appreciate your interest in my work. I’m available to answer any questions about my background, experience with various populations, or ways that I can modify a treatment to best accommodate your needs at this time.
I look forward to connecting with you!
