I have been working as a massage therapist for more than 15 years. I specialize therapeutic relaxation massage incorporate with Craniosacral technique and essential oils. Also I am a certified Manual lymphatic drainage therapist. In Japanese, “ Te-ate手当て” means medical care/first aid. “Te” means “a hand”, “ate” means “put”. Since long long time ago, our hands were used as a healing tool. In 2013, I took a compassionate touch for end of life population training at a non-profit organization called The Heart Touch Project in Santa Monica, CA. Immediately I started volunteering as a gentle touch therapist for hospice patients. The experience changed my life and taught me how powerful human touch is. Gentle yet effective. Then I started volunteering at Mattel children’s hospital providing therapeutic gentle touch therapy to pediatric patients. Currently, I work as an oncology massage therapist in the integrative medicine department at The Disney Family Cancer Center by Providence hospital in Burbank, CA. Also, through The Heart Touch Project,I work as a supervisor at USC+LAC the wellness center’s oncology massage internship clinic. Private is also available at Santa Monica office on Saturdays.
