Robin Kirkorian has been a massage therapist since 2012. In her years of compassionate work, she developed a deep connection with her clients and realized that there was a need for more oncology massage. She noticed massage therapists in spas were not educated enough to take on this population and that patients and survivors were being turned away. After receiving specialized oncology massage training, she started volunteering at a local cancer center once a week. She then created Hope Oncology Massage which is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide complementary oncology massage to people in treatment for cancer, with a history of cancer, or in palliative or hospice care for cancer in Central Massachusetts.
