This seven-day foundational course is designed for professional massage therapists who want to safely massage and support people with or after cancer.

Massage for cancer patients is not only possible, it can also provide relief from symptoms such as pain, fatigue, anxiety, and sleep problems. Scientific research based on Dr. Ines von Rosenstiel’s Integrative Medicine assessmentmodel shows that massage is proven effective, provided the massage therapist is knowledgeable about the disease, treatments, and side effects.

In this training, you will learn to tailor massages to the varying physical and emotional conditions of clients, with patient safety and comfort as the leading focus. You will develop the knowledge and experience to work clinically soundly, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and support clients as responsibly as possible.

This course includes a clinical practice day in a hospital under supervision of the teacher.
