Sierra is an employee of UCLA Health, where she provides oncology massage therapy to patients staying at Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital.
Inpatient massage therapy is a part of the Integrative Medicine Department and may be received by patients who have an order for “Relaxation massage.”
Patients may request that their doctor or nurse make an order for them to receive massage therapy during their hospital stay. This is a small program, funded by philanthropic grants, and there is no charge to the patient; however, a waiting list may be in place.
