Theresa Ochenkoski has been working as a Board Certified Massage Therapist for over 30 years. A graduate of the Connecticut School of Massage Therapy in 1988, she continues to incorporate a multitude of post graduate bodywork education. Her advanced training includes myofascial release, Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy, Pregnancy and Post-Partum Massage, pediatric massage, Foot Reflexology, Usui Reiki Master Practitioner Certification and Oncology Massage. Through the many years of experience with a diverse clientele, Theresa has developed a treatment approach that is a blend of all of these modalities which she calls Restorative Massage Therapy, and is dedicated to teaming with the patient to offer a session that is both supportive and balancing. She believes that through massage sessions the patient is introduced to the power of positive touch. She has seen this experience endure well beyond the session by building on an increased knowledge and sense of patient’s own confidence of their body’s capability. The patient embodies this power as a tool to carry with them and draw from throughout their day-to-day life. Having this tool avails a positive feeling about their bodies, and themselves. This can become an unlimited source of strength for them during both the victories and the challenges in living. Theresa is dedicated to bringing this supportive experience to each and every patient that she works with.
